What Are Seed Balls?
Seed balls are small spheres made by combining soil, cow dung, and vermicompost, with seeds carefully placed inside. Once dried, these seed balls can be scattered in open spaces. As long as they receive rainwater and sunlight, the seeds inside remain protected and will eventually sprout into plants.

The seeds in these balls include species like Aal, Gharva, Poovarasu, Bungan, Neem, and Sandalwood—all chosen for their ecological importance.

Simply throw seed balls near rivers, ponds, stream banks, temple premises, highways, forest fringes, unused government land, or any moist area.
⚠️ Avoid agricultural lands, as these are tree seeds meant for reforestation and not for farming zones.

Procedure To Create Seed Bombs

To make the seed bombs, first prepare your soil by adding organic matter and compost. The addition of compost will help your soil to retain moisture and nutrients, and increase the amount of bacteria and fungi that can be found. Next, make a clay bombs. While the kind of clay matters,

1. Mix Soil & seeds together.
2. Mix again with dry clay.
3. Mix the seeds and potting soil together in a well-blended paste.
4. Gradually add water while mixing it.
5. Once you've formed the ball of blended material, it’s time to stop mixing.
6. Keep seed bombs in the sun to make sure they dry thoroughly.
